The Walleye Whisperer
Dennis and his friend Vince returned for another outing this spring. The last time out Vince caught two nice walleyes and was eager to get back out on Lake Wallenpaupack. The water was still cold as was the morning they set out on the lake. The anglers used Keitech Baits in their approach with light line and plenty of patience as the finicky fish of this Legendary Lake can surely test the mettle of even the most seasoned anglers. There were plenty of great conversations of hunting and fishing between the scarce bites as they probed the waters. The approximate dozen or so bites they accumulated resulted in some good quality once again as Vince hauled in another solid walleye with the remainder of their fish being some hefty smallmouths and some nice perch. The perch were harvested while the other fish were returned to the lake. There was plenty of waterfowl around today as spectators as the lake seemed to come alive with the variety of birds on this spring day. For nourishment, the men enjoyed some tasty hoagies from the Taylor Deli as they typically do as they soaked in the rays of the spring sun to warm their bodies on this chilly day. Once again these two friends enjoyed the entirety of their trip as they had a great time out on this scenic waterway.
