Charlie's Bucketmouth Brigade

Veteran Legends Outdoors client and angler in Charlie took his two sons out along with his grandson and grandson's friend for a day of ice-fishing.  Charlie has been out with us on quite a few occasions and has had some memorable outings with us indeed.  This day would turn out to be an A+++ one for sure!  It started out with great weather as temperatures were in the low 30's, sun, and semi light winds.  The Pennsylvania waterway hosted this quintet of anglers as the tip-ups were strewn about and were quite active to say the least.  Their legs got a workout on this day as the flags were flying at an alarming rate!  The estimate was over 50 on the day which left a limited amount of time for jigging.  They did get a few fish jigging, but the tip-ups shone bright today as they caught 15 largemouth bass with plenty of big ones as shown below.  The anglers also caught some pickerel, perch and a humongous crappie to cap off the day of catches.  All the largemouth bass were released.  Some pickerel were harvested to make old school style pickerel patties.  The panfish were filleted for a fried fish meal.  During their legendary day they were treated to venison hot dogs.  Charlie has lived a fulfilling life and enjoys sharing his stories, experiences and time with others.  We at Legends Outdoors would like to thank him for his continued support and for taking the time to take family and friends out to enjoy nature and spectacular days such as this.
