Misty Morning Mother's Day
Each Mother's Day, Rob would go out with family on Lake Wallenpaupack with Legends Outdoors. This year due to circumstances, the family couldn't join Rob, but he kept with tradition and went it alone, but wished his wife and family would have been able to make it on the outing. The typical spring day seen a light and misty rain fall for some time before giving way to mostly sunny skies. The weather was decent overall as Rob went after the fish of this scenic lake with Keitech Baits and an invigorating spirit. Early on Rob caught one of his personal best crappie that was just a bit over 15" long and backed it up with several more panfish that were harvested for some fried fish meals. Rob would also catch some nice pickerel that were kept for pickled pickerel that makes a very nice appetizer. He would also land a northern pike that are not so common in the open water to catch and a slammer largemouth bass that was just rotund and feisty! Rob had a really good full day of fishing, enjoying the spring day, some snacks and catching some really good quality along with decent quantity to boot. We at Legends Outdoors would like to wish the mothers a very happy belated Happy Mother's Day and thank Rob for continuing his traditional adventure and look forward to seeing him back again in 2022!
