Soggy Striper Sojourn
The allure of a striped bass can lead a person to do things that they may typically not do to pursue them as they are a prized catch with amazing beauty. One of those things that comes to mind is a night adventure which returning clients of Charlie and his grandson did on a May evening/night. The men arrived at Lake Wallenpaupack, ready to get out there and after these hard fighting fish! The trip would be delayed about 45 minutes due to harsh storms rampaging the area before they could set out in the diminishing light. The duo casted about with Keitech Baits and would hook into a nice smallmouth bass that pulled free before being landed getting the blood flowing rapidly of the anglers. More bites would occur during the night as the battle tested anglers braved the elements through wind and rain off and on during the outing. They would be rewarded for their efforts in a big way as they would catch five striped bass on this adventure that were all returned to the darkened waters of this legendary lake. It was a soggy and successful outing for Charlie and his grandson and we surely look forward to seeing them back again for some more after dark angling with Legends Outdoors.
