Holiday Season Harvest

Dave (known as Chef Dave) and his wife Chrissy were out on the water for some holiday season fishing with Legends Outdoors.  The goal was to find and catch some cold water panfish and that they did.  An overcast day with a calm morning and a slight wind that would sweep across the Pennsylvania waterway reminded them that it was wintertime indeed.  Fishing with super finesse tactics they probed deep water in search of their quarry.  The bites would come and jumbo perch and some slab bluegills were what took their offerings.  Dave did hook into what was expected as a pickerel as it severed his line with sharp teeth to free itself in-between the panfish action.  All in all they harvested 25 panfish and had a good time out on the winter water!  Chef Dave brought up some home made sauces and some chicken and wild mushroom & rice soup for the guides. His generosity is deeply appreciated and the soup is extremely tasty indeed!  The Legends Outdoors Staff would like to wish a Happy New Year to Dave and Chrissy and all the Legends Outdoors clients!
