Old Reliable Produces Yet Again!

Steve & Steve Jr. were back at it again on Lake Wallenpaupack that they are extremely fond of.  If you recall these were the men that purchased a home on the lake due to the allure of it.  These avid anglers went out for the late fall bite on a morning that had a tinge of overcast that cleared out into a blue skied day with a few wispy clouds.  They started out with crankbaits and topwater moving about and tried to even find the windier sections that "by the book" would stir up the bite, but bites were hard to come by.  The ones they were getting were solid ones and good quality indeed.  A change in direction was called for and it was back to the old reliable Keitech Baits.  It didn't take long before a giant Largemouth latched onto Steve's bait and a battle would ensue!  Steve carefully played it out and maneuvered it into the net and this hefty bass posed for a photo before being released along with one that Steve Jr. landed just about simultaneously.  The lake was around mid-range as far as level as it had rose back up recently a bit and was hovering in the high 51 degree range for most of the outing.  These two rarely stopped for a snack or drink, but did so here and there to rest their shoulders and arms for a brief moment.  The day would wind down and so would their season out with Legends Outdoors, but did they end on a high note with some good quality smallmouth and largemouth bass by capitalizing on their opportunities.  We at Legends Outdoors would like to wish Steve & Steve a happy and safe off-season and look forward to seeing them back again in 2021!
