Rob is a Legends Outdoors regular and has gone out with us many times before. This time around, he brought along his friend Brian for the jaunt. The late October day had a perfect set up of calm and slightly overcast conditions before the sun broke through with just the right amount of coolness in the air that made it extremely comfortable. These Pennsylvania residents used a three fold approach of topwater, Keitech, and crankbaits to offer the fish of Lake Wallenpaupack. They covered plenty of water and power fished their way to quite a successful day of fishing. Brian would hook into and battle a giant largemouth that posed for a photo below and was released back into the water. This huge bass was right around the 6# mark and was a personal best for Mark and congratulations to him on that feat. They also caught some other largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and even a few pickerel that were harvested for pickerel cakes and pickled pickerel. They had some snacks for energy as they kept at it for quite some time on this scenic lake. It sure was a great day out for Rob and Brian and we look forward to seeing these guys back again in the future for some more outdoor fun with Legends Outdoors.
