Local anglers and hunters Joe and his son took a trip out with Legends Outdoors in the earlier part of June. The mission was to go for panfish and that they did on this nippy morning that quickly turned into a hot day fairly quickly. The father and son duo brought along sandwiches and snacks to keep their energy up as they persistently fished for the Lake Wallenpaupack panfish. They seined the water with Keitech Baits and light line and watching it intently for even the slightest bites that may occur. They would catch several nice crappie and perch on the day which were harvested for a fried fish meal for their family as shown prepared in a beer batter in photo number three. They also caught some very nice and hefty pickerel that were also harvested for Legends Outdoors famous pickled pickerel and pickerel patties. They did catch a few smallmouth bass that were mixed in and a couple other panfish that were released back into the water. All in all they caught well into the 30's of fish and had a great time out on the water enjoying the outdoors together.
