Marble Eyes by Moonlight

Chef Dave is game for many types of fishing and for a multitude of species and this time around it would be night fishing for walleye.  Dave is an avid angler and is a Legends Outdoors regular to say the least and was chomping at the bit to get out for after dark excursion.  It would be a much cooler evening than the prior ones and the air was hovering around 60 degrees as a dampness filled the air.  There were some storms that hit the Lake Wallenpaupack area around sunset delaying the trip for a few hours, but they managed to get out after they had passed through.  Dave would bounce around from spot to spot casting and casting under the night sky with high hopes and great anticipation.  The first strike would occur and Dave would be hooked up with a big walleye.  Dave carefully played the fish towards the net and a 6# walleye was landed to much satisfaction of the long time client.  A photo was taken and it was on to some more fishing for the night.  After a few more areas and many more casts, Dave was once again rewarded with a strike from a walleye and another big one at that. Dave once again fought the big fish tentatively and worked it toward the net before it was brought into the boat.  It would turn out to be an 8# walleye that put a big smile on Dave's face for another photo.  It was a fun night out for Dave and he also brought some amazing soups, fish cakes, and sauces up for the Legends Outdoors Staff and we would like to extend our gratitude for this thoughtfulness.
