Clouds, Sun and Plenty of Fun
Tony and his son Danny have been coming on adventures with Legends Outdoors for many years on Pennsylvania waters. In late June of 2020 they would be back on Lake Wallenpaupack for some early summer action. The post spawn fish which tend to be very finicky would be a challenge for these seasoned anglers. They set out on an overcast day which seen some off and on drizzle and calm waters. The plan was to start out with topwater which they did with some success and then moved over to Jig & Pig and Keitech Baits afterwards. It was a nice relaxing day with very little boat traffic and relaxing sounds from the birds that inhabit this Wayne County waterway. They had decent action during the day and caught some nice pickerel, perch and smallmouth bass with a mix of other panfish here and there. They brought along some sandwiches and snacks to hold them over on the outing as the clouds would eventually give way and let the sun peek through for the latter of the trip. A fun day overall for this father and son duo and we look forward to seeing Tony and Danny back again later in the year for another Legends Outdoors Adventure.
