Home away from Home

Steve and his brother Sean are long time and avid Legends Outdoors clients with a history of spending much time at scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.   Recently they are their father Steve purchased a home on the lake that they so dearly love and travel often to from the neighboring state of New Jersey.  The new home owners set sail with Legends Outdoors again recently during a stay at their property on a very comfortable day.  The goal was to quest for stripers early and switch gears afterwards.  The striper run did not bear any strikes but the effort was surely there.  The then would scale down and use finesse tactics with Keitech Baits.  The shallow bite was extremely sketchy so they prodded offshore in search of the fish.  Find they did as they started to collect some bites as these two avid anglers would compile smallmouth bass, some big crappie, a few nice pickerel, perch and a slab rockbass that joined in the mix.  They had some snacks and drinks enjoying the sights and sounds of Wallenpaupack while enjoying the comfort of a light east wind that had the smell of spring.  All in all they caught about 20-30 fish with the pickerel and panfish being harvested and are looking forward to getting out again real soon with Legends Outdoors for another Lake Wallenpaupack Adventure.
