Just Chillin' with Mike and Tink

Long time friends of Mike and Tink have lead very busy lives in their jobs and have been searching for some time to get together and do some outdoor activities.  They were finally able to do so and got together for a March outing at Lake Wallenpaupack.  They went out with Legends Outdoors on a nice day with barely any wind and temperatures that rose into the 40's during the adventure.  They did have a chilly start in the morning, but with a strong sun at this time of the year it warmed them quickly.  This day wasn't about pursuing any specific type of fish, or learning a technique, or asking questions about deep water fishing, or anything else like that...it was just about two friends chillin' out and having a good time together.  Mike had been out with Legends Outdoors before, but this would be Tink's first adventure with us.  This duo brought along some nice hoagies and beverages for the trip and plenty of stories to exchange back and forth as they fished away.  They used light line tactics and Keitech Baits while doing so.  They caught over a dozen fish during the trip including some nice crappie, a few perch, and a couple smallmouth.  Mike also had a jumbo perch all the way up to the surface before it pulled free and went back down into the depths that would have been the biggest perch of the day by far and would have been a nice picture, but that is a part of fishing.  This overall was a great day out and one Mike and Tink will remember for some time.
