Greg's Group Sticks to the Plan

Greg's Group annually goes on a trip each year and for 2020 it would be to the Poconos Region and do some ice-fishing with Legends Outdoors as their outing on the trip.  The issue with that itinerary was that there was no ice left on the lake.  This would not be a problem what-so-ever as Greg's Group stuck with the plan and it was still a go as they went open water fishing instead.  On two boats the seven of them set sail out on Lake Wallenpaupack.  With hoagies and plenty of beverages loaded on the boats they navigated this Wayne County Waterway in the high winds that swept across the lake out of the NNW.  The cold air temperatures in the mid to upper 30's combined with that stiff wind off the cold water made for tough conditions to detect bites.  Once again, these conditions had little to no effect on the heptad and their good time as they just kept at it, fished, ate, drank, and had a great time.  They earned every bite that they had on the day and mustered up a few smallmouth bass, crappie, and perch on their outing.  With the sun on their shoulders and aching abdomens from the laughter; they posed for a group picture before saying their goodbyes.  We thank Greg and his companions for choosing Legends Outdoors for their 2020 endeavor and look forward to seeing them again for one of their annual gatherings.
