Swallows of Wallenpaupack?

Just like the birds do in Capistrano making that famous annual trek....Eric, Mike and Lew returned for their annual visit to NE Pennsylvania for an ice-fishing trip.  This year's weather seen temperatures hovering right around the freezing temperature of 32 with overcast skies.  There was a slight wind out of the NW that reminded them all that even though it has been mild as of late that it is sill winter.  As always they were fired up and revving to go early on as they headed out on the frozen waters.  There would be tip-ups set out as well as jigging on this day for this trio as they covered the bases in their approach for success.  The action was moderate throughout the outing as they built up an appetite early and were treated to Legends Outdoors venison stew.  They enjoyed some beverages throughout the day as they ran for flags and jigged up some panfish at a moderate pace.  When lunchtime came around, it would be venison jalapeno hot dogs with an appetizer of Legends Outdoors famous pickled pickerel.  They would catch a decent amount of bluegill, perch and pickerel for the overall days catch with several of them being harvested for future meals.  The pickerel are going to be for fish tacos while the panfish fillets will be pan fried for the meals.  The group had a great time conversing and getting out in the fresh air while fishing and once again were very satisfied with the entire experience.  We look forward to seeing these three back for year number five in 2021 for some hard-water action in the scenic Poconos.
