Bundle Up!

Dave along with his family are ones that really enjoy the outdoors and will get out all seasons to enjoy them.  They once again did so by heading out on a cloudy day with frigid temps in early November.  The key to functioning in this weather is proper clothing and preparation such as bringing gloves and hand warmers.  The day was very calm which made it very manageable to detect bites and feel the bottom well.  The mission was to just get bites as light line tactics were used with Keitech Baits and even some hardware in the mix.  The bites were spotty as a few in a row would happen and then stretches of down time.  Chrissy, Jaxon...who is still very much a toddler, and Dave were having a grand old time breathing the fresh air and probing for a multitude of species.  Dave is a chef by trade and brought along a sliced up Kielbasa Loaf as the boat ate this for energy during the day.  The day would eventually wind down and all in all...smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, perch, white perch crappie, and rockbass were caught on the day providing a good amount of action for their final adventure out with Legends Outdoors for 2019.  We look forward to seeing this happy family back again with us in 2020.
