Rick Cranks Em' In

Rick and his wive Dana went out for an afternoon til dark outing on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.  The trip started out windy, sunny and with very pleasant temperatures.  It wasn't hot or cold; just a nice temperature to really enjoy being out on the lake.  The bite started out a bit sluggish, but a few smallmouth bass were landed and a few missed for Rick as he probed the little deeper depths.  Dana did not fish as she was just enjoying the scenery and reading a book while getting some sun.  There was some wildlife that was very active on the day around the lake including a bald eagle and a deer that the couple were fortunate enough to see in their natural habitat. As the evening trip progressed Rick got into them fast and furious on a shallow crankbait bite and took advantage of a feeding frenzy.  The action was so hot that they didn't get more photos, but he caught em' but good leading up to dark and this couple had a nice  August day out on the water together on scenic Wallenpaupack.
