Window of Opportunity
As with many sports or other aspects of life, there are windows of opportunity that come and go in a seemingly short span and for returning clients...Chris, Chris, and Jim this would be exactly the case. With a night that was warm and humid they set out in search of the monsters of the night. The three of them pitched cast after cast into the darkness and had a few strikes resulting in a few smallmouths to get the blood flowing and the hook setting reaction geared up! Then it was nothing and more nothing as the cloudy skies that didn't let any moon visibility through at all tried to cast doubt on the anglers, but they refused to let their will be broken and kept at it. The stroke of midnight sounded and then shortly after the swooshing and boiling of big predators after baitfish lit up the area and the game was on. A walleye struck and battled for a bit before a photo would be taken with this night time feeder and then at the next spot a solid sized striper would hammer at the offering and start peeling line before both angler and fish knew where the battle lines would be drawn and as the anglers and striped bass both struggled to gain ground, it would be the angler in the end that worked the fish towards the net and landed it for a quick photo before it was released into the dark waters. Just like that all the commotion of the night time feeding frenzy ceased and so did their action as the window of opportunity came and went in a flash. They had a fun time out and thoroughly enjoyed the outing as they fulfilled their mission and we look forward to seeing this trio again for yet another Legends Outdoors Adventure.
