Morning Bite?

There is a phrase we using in fishing called "Morning Bite" which usually relates to the stretch of time from daybreak on for a few hours which is typically your best action especially during the warmer months.  Returning clients, Ricky and Tex bucked that notion and took a six hour trip starting at noon on the scenic Susquehanna River and blistered the smallmouth bass big time.  The hot day in the 80's with mostly sunny skies would seem like a desert based on the weather, but was an oasis for these long-time friends as they pulled in over 70 smallmouth bass on crankbaits and Keitech Baits!  They had an absolute blast being out on the river with so much action and also got to see some wildlife including deer and a bald eagle swoop down and get a fish of its own!  They are coming back in the fall and are looking forward to that trip big time!
