Familiar Face

If it seems like this guy has been in many of our blogs........it is because he has.  Dave from the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area goes about four to five times a year out with with Legends Outdoors in all four seasons. The 2019 starter for Dave was a February day on the hard water out on Lake Wallenpaupack.  After a long walk to the starting area, this avid angler and chef got right into the jigging and waited for flags to pop.  The day started out calm and dreary with quite a bite in the air before the wind picked up between 10:00 - 11:00 AM and brought up to 20 MPH winds across the frozen lake.  A morning meal of venison sausage and cheese prepared by Legends Outdoors warmed up Dave while he pounded away.  He picked away with one here and one there with perch being the highest number caught with a few bluegill mixed in on the jig rod.  He caught a few beautiful smallmouth bass on the tip-ups which posed for a photo before being released back into the chilly waters.  A lunch of venison hot dogs capped off the meals for the day and the action remained moderate before they eventually called it a day and took the long journey back to the parking area.  Another fun day out for Dave and we look forward to seeing him back again later this year!
