2019 Hard Water Maiden Voyage

New Jersey residents Eric, Mike, Mike and Lou came back to Pennsylvania for the third consecutive year for some ice-fishing with Legends Outdoors.  The middle of January was the setting with 8-10" of solid ice, light winds, high near 20 degrees, and an east front moving in.  These four friends used a combination of jigging and tip ups on this day to pursue their quarry.  They were treated to some venison stew and venison/jalapeno hot dogs to give them energy on this frigid day. They also partook in some beverages during the outing and had plenty of conversations catching up on their lives.  They jigged up several bluegills, sunfish and perch along with their lunker pickerel that measured nearly 25" long!  They also had plenty of flags and ran in all directions for the tip ups while landing several other pickerel and a dink largemouth bass in the midst of the pickerel.  A good time was had by all and we look forward to seeing this group again next year for their annual hard water outing.
