Return to the River

Frank and Heather of the Mahwah, New Jersey area have taken several trips with Legends Outdoors and continued that trend in 2018 with a Susquehanna River excursion.  The hot June day had sunny skies and barely a breeze for them to contend with on this day as they patrolled this mighty river.  This was a day of many numbers of smallmouth bath with this duo reaching just shy of 50 with most of them on the smaller size.  The murky water also yielded two walleye for this happy couple and a giant catfish that was 28" and weighing in at 8#.  Our river guide is having a free catfish charter contest this year and Frank now holds the lead in this category with the biggest catfish caught on the Susquehanna River during a charter trip.  All of the fish today were caught on Keitech Baits and crankbaits.  An overall nice day out for this pair and we look forward to seeing them again for another adventure.
