Slow Start/Strong Finish

Local anglers Danny and his father Tony are Legends Outdoors regulars and usually take a couple trips a year.  This time around a typical spring day with some overcast and a slight wind was on the agenda for these avid fishermen.  The day started very slow as the high water and mix of what stage the fish were in had the puzzle all jumbled.  Piece by piece it came together as later in the day they capitalized by putting a pattern together with Keitech Baits.  As usual they brought along pizza from a local establishment to enjoy during their outing.  By day's end there was quite a variety boarded including a really big bullhead, nice largemouth bass, several smallmouth bass, some crappie, perch, and a spattering of others that joined the party.  They took some panfish home for harvesting and Danny was given a first hand lesson on filleting by the Legends Outdoors guide at the conclusion of the trip.  An all around great day for this father and son duo and we look forward to seeing them back again for their next adventure.
