Pike County Outfitters

Ted from Pike County Outfitters who is a returning client of Legends Outdoors tried his hand at an evening/night outing.  He was greeted with cool and damp conditions with a light drizzle off and on most of the trip with on being more prevalent.   The series of fronts that had passed through the last few days before this outing was surely going to make it a big challenge for Ted to hook up with a striper, but he was determined to get one and had high hopes from start to finish.  He plugged away at many areas with a few different techniques and caught five smallmouth bass with some really nice ones such as the one on display below, a pickerel, and even a bullhead during the adventure.  When it seemed that getting a striper may be eluding him, at the very last spot Ted set the hook on the gem of Lake Wallenpaupack and he battled the fish to the boat to pose for a photo before returning it in the night waters.  Perseverance paid off for Ted and we hope to see him again out on Lake Wallenpaupack.  If you ever need a license or any outdoor gear please don't hesitate to check out his store on US-6 in Milford, Pennsylvania as you always get greeting with a smile from Ted.
