Thursday Family Fun

Phil and his two children, Henry and Claire took a late March trip out with Legends Outdoors for a Pre-Easter Extravaganza.  Instead of bright objects in a basket, we had a few bright smiling youngsters aboard a boat on Lake Wallenpaupack.  The day was damp and chilly with some mist in the air and temperatures never getting above the low to mid 40's.  The lack of wind, some hand warmers, and plenty of snacks provided much comfort for the group as they fished along in the chilly water.  These returning clients were out last summer on the pontoon boat with us as they are trying to fish the various seasons to get familiar with the patterns and techniques of this lake as they have a place right on this legendary body of water.  They methodically fished with light line and Keitech Baits as they kept their focus and determination in pursuit of the fish.  They had a really nice day catching approximately 30 fish with the species of smallmouth bass, perch and crappie being in the mix.  The panfish will make for some nice meals and the bass were all released. It was a great family day out as fun was had by all and we look forward to seeing Phil and his family again later this season.
