Bill and Jules who are avid anglers that reside in Pennsylvania came back with Legends Outdoors for a "March Mixer" pursuing a multitude of species. These guys are very adept at angling from canoes and used to making their way about the waterways with minimal tackle and precise casting when fishing on their own. Today with Legends Outdoors, their outing brought with it sun and wind with some chilly temperatures. It was one of the rare sunny days in a string of mostly cloudy ones and they took full advantage of the warmth it put on their shoulders and tenths of degrees it put into the water. Using light line techniques with Keitech Baits, this duo hauled in nearly two dozen each of perch and crappie along with smallmouth bass, a fallfish, and even a brown trout. The significance to the brown trout was that it was one that survived from the multiple fingerling stockings in the last few years in the lake and proved that they are thriving in the waterway. These guys had quite a day and caught them good and we look forward to seeing them back again on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.
