Jerry and his father Jerry are avid anglers and try to get out fishing whenever possible amidst their busy schedules. They were both able to get out together on a frigid late March day. There was ice covering most of the areas they would fish when the morning started as they patiently waited as the strong early spring sun tried to remove what was left of the frozen waters hanging on for one last morning. After having a few follows from pickerel and a lone brown trout, they were able to get a few spurts of some various sized smallmouth bass and perch during the day on Keitech Baits while finesse fishing with light line. The east wind that was blowing made feeling bites difficult, but these seasoned anglers fought through it and soaked up some vitamin D as the sun shone bright all day and warmed the shoulders of this father and son duo. All in all they had a great time and landed well into the teens of fish in the frigid waters of Lake Wallenpaupack and we hope to see Jerry & Jerry again when time permits for them both to get back out on the water.
