Rickey took the trek north from the Philadelphia area again to head out on the Susquehanna River. This time he brought along Tex
and Jim. These three long time
friends headed out on the north branch to enjoy the fall foliage and potential smallmouth action. They were hit with some very adverse conditions which included the first
strong cold front of the season and a very stiff north wind that was averaging nearly 20 MPH. Even with the tough conditions, they had plenty of action and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and compiled 75 smallmouth bass (with many in the 15" plus range), three walleye, and a few other non
typical species. They caught them in a varied depths and most fish were
caught on the 3" TACKLEHD HiDEF Crawfish and the rest were on
Keitech USA swimbaits. Another awesome day out for Rickey and friends as there will be plenty to reminisce over on their journey home.
