Three generations of John, Rick, and Tyler took to the water on Lake Wallenpaupack in hopes to hook up with some striper action. It was a very early start and a warm morning as they set sail out on this scenic 5,200 acre waterway. It didn't take long for the action to start and it kept going as this trio had strike after strike and the rods were often doubled over. They battled striper after striper with some smallmouth bass mixed in as the party cloudy day wore on. All in all, they landed seven striped bass with one of those being a very hefty hybrid as they ranged from an 8# class all the way into the 14# class. Their big smiles and weary arms told the tale of a tremendous day for this family and one that will be talked about for many years to come. These three vowed to return again some day and we at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing them again for another action packed day.
