Mojo in the Murk

This trip seen the father and son duo of Damon and DJ venture out on Lake Wallenpaupack.  On a day that was very reminiscent of the 1988 playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears, these two anglers patiently waited for their opportunities to arise, and that they did.  A bit after the ten o’clock bell, DJ would hook into a silvery submarine known as a striped bass and it gave him quite a battle before being scooped into the net.  This fish weighed in at 12# and set the tone for the remainder of the day.  Less than an hour later after the dense fog lifted and sun took hold of the day, Damon hooked up into a solid fish and battled it for some time before landing a striper of his own that tipped the scales at 10#.  They also had several other strikes in and around the stripers that resulted in a walleye, perch, pickerel, and four solid smallmouth bass on the outing. They had a great time on the outing and truly enjoyed the entire experience of the day.
