The father and son duo of Herb and Matt were looking to do some striper fishing on Lake Wallenpaupack. They dialed up Legends Outdoors and booked a trip to pursue these beautiful fish that roam the depths of this Wayne County body of water. They started early before sunrise and waited with anticipation for that unmistakable strike from a striped bass. A few hours into the trip as they tried to shake off the chill of a cool morning, two strikes occurred and Herb and Matt played tug-of-war with two of their targeted species and a pair of 11# fish were landed. After photos were taken and the anglers nestled back into their position, the day would gradually warm and the lake would start to flatten out as their was barely a ripple on the water. As a few wispy clouds strolled over the top of the treeline breaking up the azure canopy that was overhead, another tremendous strike occurred and Herb was all over it and another rod bending battle would begin. After it was all said and done, Herb landed a nice 9# striper to round out their catches. These two anglers had a great time and are anxious to return again next year for another striper adventure.
