New Jersey residents Heather and Frank traveled to Pennsylvania again for another river trip out with Legends Outdoors. The unseasonably warm October temperatures made for a very nice day out fishing with a partially overcast sky and calm waters. Even though the water temperature was above the average at this time of the year, the fish were in the fall feeding mode as the strikes came often for this couple. Using a few different techniques this duo landed 50 smallmouth bass with many in the 15"-18" range and a few other bigger ones were camera shy and jumped well out of the water and threw the hook before being landed. They also landed a walleye and other river fish to round out their catch on this day. All fish were released alive to thrive in this healthy fishery. It was another splendid day on the North Branch of the Susquehanna River to soak in scenery and fresh air on another angling adventure.
