Mike & Don's Fabulous Friday

Mike and Don are not only co-workers, but great friends and decided to take a trip out together on Lake Wallenpaupack in search for some stripers.  If one would write down on paper an ideal water temperature and weather conditions for a striper trip this one would would fall very near the mark as it was a picture perfect day for the adventure.  A nice cool morning was just getting rolling when a double struck and it was "game on" as Mike and Don both got to experience the awesome power runs of a Wallenpaupack Striped Bass.  When both were landed they weighed in at nearly identical 11# fish.  After a few more hours of fishing about, another vicious strike occurred for Mike and he reared back and again it was a man vs. fish tug-o-war and Mike once again would get the best and land it eventually.  This one was a 12#er.  A few minutes later it would be another opportunity for Don and he made the best of it and hooked up with another good sized one and battled it to the net before it was scooped up by the guide and weighed.  This would be another 11# fish for Don!  This was a great time out by this pair and one to remember and we at Legends Outdoors look forward to seeing them again for another outing.
