When a "Crappie" Day is a Great Day

Wild Bill was back out with Legends Outdoors for another fishing excursion.  He was on a solo trek in search of crappies.  The day had a north fall wind and changing leaves on the trees surrounding the lake.  The first two to three hours the action was scarce with only a few fish caught; then things changed in a hurry.  Bill got into a pile of crappies that would be the catalyst for a day of a lifetime.  Using Keitech Baits and light line, Bill would haul in crappie after crappie for several hours including a period of 29 on 29 casts!  All in all he would haul in more than 100 crappies and a few perch and largemouth bass mixed in for good measure on the day.  Bill traditionally brings a sandwich and Snickers Bar, but in the rarest of rare didn't even them until the ride home as the action was so intense.  Some of the crappies reached confirmed 16" measurement and about 40 total were harvested for future fried fish meals.  They seen deer and other wildlife on this beautiful autumn day around the lake.  This will be a day talked about for years to come and we hope Bill has a wonderful fall and winter and we look forward to seeing him back again in the spring for another Legends Outdoors adventure.
