A Banner Day

Vinny and Dennis were back at it on Lake Wallenpaupack for yet another voyage.  Their final days of summer jaunt seen an ideal day with light wind, comfortable temps, and mostly sunny skies overhead.  These two are no strangers to this lake or successful days here and today would be no different.  Dennis not long out of the gates hooked into and battled out a hybrid striper that posed for a photo in the early morning light.  That set the tone as the day would be filled with good quality fish.  Vinny would catch a big striped bass as seen below after a back and forth melee before getting that fish into the net and getting a picture with this fine specimen.  Vinny would also catch his personal best smallmouth bass at this lake of 20" as shown below and also released back into the lake.  The pair also caught several other smallmouth bass and about a dozen or so nice perch during the outing.  Dennis as usual was kind enough to provide a lunch for the entire boat which is deeply appreciated as always.  Another great outing for these two friends and we look forward to seeing them back again very soon for another adventure.
