Screaming Lines and Good Times

Matty and his son Bubba were back out for another trek with Legends Outdoors on the roomy pontoon boat.  The summer day was absolutely ideal with a very light breeze, overcast skies, and comfortable temperatures.  Traditionally they go big right out of the gate and that they did again with bait for several hours.  Results were phenomenal as the big fish bites arrived quickly for this father/son duo.  The rod-ripping strikes from these beasts of the deep were tell tale signs of what was on the other end of the line as when the hook was set....it was tug-o-war time!  Matty and Bubba had long back and forth battles with drags screaming as they knew how to play these fish.  It is a task to catch even one striper on a day, but these men managed three of them including a monster hybrid in the 10# class which is very big for one of those.  The stripers were all released back into the lake alive and healthy.  They eventually switched over to Keitech Baits and probed some different areas.  They would get into some nice perch and some smallmouth bass to compliment the day very nicely.  Matty brought along some tasty pizza and snacks for their voyage which was very satiating for these avid anglers.  The men as outdoorsmen do enjoy their venison and fish, so they harvested the perch only and had a fried fish dinner the very next day to even further the experience of their awesome day out together on Lake Wallenpaupack.
