Dog Days Delight

Marty brought along his crew two years ago on a pontoon boat trip with Legends Outdoors.  Now a pair of August's later, they were back at in on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.  A hot and stagnant day was the setting for the group as they set out on their voyage.  They went right for the gusto out of the gate and went for stipers as the bait was set our for these lunkers of the deep.  About two hours passed without a taker, so they adjusted and went to the second leg of their plan and moved on.  It didn't take long for the fish to hammer the bait and smash their Keitech offerings.  It was a barrage of perch, bluegill, smallmouth bass and pickerel that this group hauled in on the flat waters of this Wayne County Lake.  Some of the smallmouths went air bound as they leapt with great power and spirit as they tried to shake the hook free from the anglers.  Marty's Crew brought along some tasty sandwiches and cold beverages to keep themselves cool on this hot summer day.  All in all it was a great day and we hope they enjoyed the rest of their stay in the area and look forward to seeing them back again for another outdoor adventure.
