Jim and Maria have been out with Legends Outdoors before and decided to do a little getaway trip for a few days up in the Finger Lake area. They booked a place and went for several days seeing some sights and they also did a couple days of golf and a couple days of fishing during their adventure. They did get some rain on one of their golf days, but the two fishing days were just exquisite indeed with a light coolness to the morning followed by very a warm late morning into early afternoon. The winds would be fairly light and the sun would be bright for their days of fishing. Jim would be fishing alone as Maria likes to just relax and enjoy the fresh air and take in all the sights and sounds of nature and the surrounding ecosystem. It wouldn't take long for Jim to get into the fish on this trip as Jim used a light line and Keitech Baits approach at these fish. The action would be outstanding to say the least as Jim would hardly want to take a break at times for water or food as he truly loves to fish. He enjoys when a smallmouth bass leaps out of the water and tries to shake free and that would happen quite often to him on the two-day outing. Jim would rack up an impressive 85 fish on day one of smallmouth bass, perch, rockbass and a rainbow trout. Day number two he would eclipse that mark by a long shot as the action was hot and heavy as Jim caught 131 confirmed on this day consisting of smallmouth bass and rockbass making his two-day total well over 200! Jim and Maria had an outstanding vacation in New York together enjoying a multitude of activities and the beautiful weather. We are glad they had such a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing them back again for another outdoor adventure with Legends Outdoors.
