Personal Holiday

Each year we celebrate the holidays together, but there is only one holiday that is your "personal one" which is your birthday.   Matt recognized the significance of this and got a Legends Outdoors trip for his father as his birthday present.  The avid fishermen have a place not too far away from Lake Wallenpaupack and do some kayak fishing during the season on a variety of waters.  The game plan was to pursue striped bass first and then go to plan "B".   The comfortable temperature day with a little chop on the water just had that feel about it that it would be a good day.  The feeling would be right as the father and son duo picked up right away on the techniques that were shown and capitalized with the  Keitech Baits and jerkbaits.  Matt hooked into a hard fighting hybrid striper and he carefully played the vivacious fish and worked it into the net before it posed for a photo.  Matt's dad caught a hefty largemouth early on also and they built on that start and had a very fine day indeed catching many quality fish including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel and the aforementioned striped bass.  All the fish were released back into the legendary lake.  The beautiful day along with the spring sounds made for a great day out for this personal holiday and we at Legends Outdoors would like to thank Matt for bringing out is father and would like to once again wish him a very happy birthday.
