A "Skitch" in Time

Annual spring trek on Lake Wallenpaupack was again the setting for John along with his nephew Josh, his father Skitch and their family friend Gary who is also and avid hunter.  The bitter cold day was nasty indeed with blue skies, cold temperatures in the high 30's and 20-25 MPH winds that swept across the lake at times during the outing.  The Legends Outdoors pontoon boat hosted the fishermen as they were excited to all get together and have some fun for the day.  None was as pumped up as grandson Josh as he is an up and coming fisherman with plenty of passion for the sport.  They fished about the wind strewn body of water with Keitech Baits finessing them with precision to entice strikes.  The group would haul out about 10-12 nice perch that were kept for a nice fish fry dinner.  They also caught a few smallmouth bass that provided some great action for the anglers.  As usual, Skitch brought along some hearty hoagies for the bunch as they indulged in them along with many stories and much laughter during the outing.  We would like to thank John for organizing the trip and look forward to seeing this group back again in 2022 for their annual group outing!
