Wallenpaupack Rock N' Roll Fest

Ryan and his group of friends recently took an ice-fishing trip out with Legends Outdoors.  This trip consisted of mostly first-timers to the ice-fishing scene as the lot of them decided to get together and give the sport a try.  This group is connected by the theme of music.  They are all into music (more so Rock N' Roll) and go to concerts together and the like.  Some of them also play instruments to boot.  There would be snow squalls and a high temperature of 25 for the day, but the group of nine didn't hardly notice as a nice warm fire, tossing a football around, and great comraderies repelled any elements.  The fishing was mediocre, but they learned how to jig and man the tip-ups when a flag went off adding to the entire experience.  They caught a few panfish including perch and bluegill and one really nice pickerel on the day.  There were so many stories and laughs that went around for the day that they seemed countless.  The group was treated to venison backstraps on grenade buns with secret BBQ sauce, venison jalapeno and also regular hot dogs, Legends Outdoors pickled pickerel and also Chef Dave, who is one of our other clients as you all know provided ground pickerel balls with a myriad of seasonings for this group as shown in photo below.  Wow...this was quite a festival for this group and they also had music playing during the day as they truly had a great outdoor experience on the ice of Lake Wallenpaupack.
