Kapsize Crew 2020

The Kapsize Crew was back for their annual trip with Legends Outdoors in 2020!  They came for a late September instead of their usual spring slate due to other commitments and such.  Their four days of fishing sandwiched around a weekend seen some of the most challenging conditions.  A solid cold front had moved in a few days before their trip and coupled with very low water, clearing water, and high barometric pressure was a lethal mix indeed.  This challenge and brutal conditions did not deter these long time friends from continuing with their plans and having fun.  They used a mix of Keitech Baits, live bait, and a drizzle of other baits in their also on their trip to Lake Wallenpaupack.  A few of the members of the Kapsize Crew didn't make this year and they were sorely missed as this is a very tight knit group and we have been hosting them for years.  One of the days they had a nice shore lunch consisting of fresh fried panfish, coleslaw, and macaroni salad and snacks as a tradition of their trip.  They had great conversations catching up on the goings-on in their lives from the past year and conversing with the guides about a myriad of topics.  On the weekend between the trip they enjoyed an itinerary that Dennis organized and overall had a great week together.  They caught some really nice smallmouth bass during the outing and a mix of other species in-between to round out their catches.  We would like to thank the Kapsize Crew for having Legends Outdoors be a big part of their annual gathering and we are glad to see them continue their great tradition!
