Coach Em' Up!

 Returning client Dennis was back at it again for another trip with Legends Outdoors.  He brought along his friend Mike for a big fish hunt in late September.  The early fall can be a very tricky time of year, but these long time friends were up to the challenge and set out on the pontoon boat with the utmost confidence.  The start of the voyage was to get after it with live bait for giants.  They did this for some time and had one good strike.  An ensuing battle was the result and Mike brought in a solid channel catfish to start off their day in a positive direction.  The day was sunny and hot with very little wind to be found as they would eventually switch over to artificial baits.  They would try some drop shotting and test the waters with this method.  It would be a great educational technique as they learned much about it and also caught some nice smallmouths doing so.  They also fished Keitech Baits in other fashions as they really got a good sampling of different techniques on this day.  There were plenty of good sports conversations going on during the day as Mike is a football coach and is very passionate about it indeed.  These guys brought along snacks and beverages and had just a grand ol' time fishing about Lake Wallenpaupack.  What a great early fall day is was for Dennis and Mike and we look forward to seeing them back in 2021 for another Legends Outdoors adventure.
