Chris, who is a North Carolina resident, coordinated a July vacation with his family at Lake Wallenpaupack for a week's stay. The group traveled north mostly from the Tar Heel State and about the east coast for the gathering. They rented a house right on the lake and scheduled things to do for several days. Two of the days they would go fishing with Legends Outdoors. The Monday and Thursday seen them go out in groups for a half day each. Both days seen it hazy with overcast skies and Thursday the rain would fall for the later group. It was nice and warm with not much of a breeze either day and very comfortable. They were eager to fish this new body of water and had good success with topwater and Keitech Baits. Each day and shift seemed to come with spurts of action and brief slack times in between. They had snacks and beverages and even some nice sandwiches made by trip coordinator Chris who nicely brought one for the guide. Smallmouth bass, pickerel, bluegill, rockbass, perch, and sunfish all were caught during the outing as there were many smiling faces on board during the two days. There was great conversation and plenty of talk about Carolina Panthers football during the outings. The group seen many species of wildlife and got to explore this beautiful scenic lake which really enhanced the total experience. They spoke highly of their stay at the lake and all it had to offer. They even spoke about the hopes of returning for another trip in another year and we look forward to seeing them if they do make it back and are very glad they had a wonderful all around vacation!
