From Tents to Topwater

Shane along with wife Jamie and father-in-law Rob were doing some camping at Ironwood on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack and decided to also book a trip with Legends Outdoors while there.  The July day came around and it would be a hot, humid, and sticky one with blue skies that resembled a post card background.  They got out nice and early and started with some topwater and had some good success with it, they landed some nice smallmouths that erupted on their offerings.  As the sun got higher in the sky they went to Keitech Baits and also found success on the above average sized smallmouths and had some great battles from these photogenic bronzebacks before landing them.  They did some snacking in between and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the lake during the day.  The boat traffic would slowly intensify during the outing as did the heat making it very challenging by trip's end to entice a strike, but all in all they had a very nice day of good sized bass and thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Lake Wallenpaupack.
