Dennis & Jack at the Pack

On the 4th day of Spring, Dennis and his friend Jack headed out for some fishing on Lake Wallenpaupack with Legends Outdoors.  Dennis has been out with Legends Outdoors before, but this would be the maiden voyage for Jack.  These long-time friends are local residents and Jack does quite a bit of bank fishing in the area and was excited to get out on the boat for a different view of this legendary body of water.  It was a very cold start in the high 20's or low 30's and ice was forming on the guides for nearly the first couple hours of the trip.  These men are used to the cold as they both are also hunters and even take trips together to North Carolina for hunts on occasion.  The good part about it was that there were light winds and afternoon sun that warmed the anglers as they were well dressed for the outing which is a really important factor.  The pair dabbed and doodled Keitech Baits on light line for the finicky cold water fish and they would have moderate action on the day with about 30 fish total being caught.  The fish that they caught were all perch and crappie and were kept for a nice Lenten fish fry in the upcoming days for their families to enjoy with them.  They had a great time basking in the bright sun, sharing stories, eating Italian Hoagies, drinking beverages, and having plenty of laughs on the day.  We hope Dennis and Jack enjoy their fish fry and we look forward to seeing them again for another Legends Outdoors Adventure.
