The Dawning of 2020

Avid fisherman and Legends Outdoors Regular....Dave was the first to get out in the 2020 season with us.  Upper Pennsylvania had plenty of solid ice for a hard water outing for this chef by trade.  The January day was dreary and overcast with a light wind for the solo mission he undertook.  Jigging and tip-ups were used and the action was decent throughout the day.  There was a three course venison meal cooked during the trip with a venison breakfast sandwich to start it off, then with some venison kielbasa, and then the marinated venison backstrap to seal the deal...wow what a feast it was out on the frozen lake between the catches for Dave.  There was bluegills and perch caught with about a dozen of those harvested for some meals.  He caught about six or seven undersized pickerel, and six or seven beautiful largemouth bass that were all released back into the chilly waters.  No doubt that Dave had a solid day and set the tone for what will be another successful year at Legends Outdoors in 2020!
