Luck of the Draw

Over the past several years, The Penalty Box has run a Rich Juba Memorial Fundraiser.  One of the prizes each year is a trip donated by Legends Outdoors.  Amazingly enough Justin won this exact prize yet again in 2019 during the drawing!  With that being said, he took fellow teachers Dave and Chris who are close colleagues of his.  The early July day on the pontoon boat had the settings for this mini party for these three friends.  It was a sunny, calm, and hot day for them to relax and enjoy the fresh air and have some cold beverages and also indulge in a few cigars and hoagies.  They started the day off with some topwater action and boated a few solid fish and then flipped the script to prodding the fish with Keitech Baits and had consistent action the entire trip out on Lake Wallenpaupack.  They caught a few really nice largemouth bass and smallmouth bass on the trip as evident from the below photos and several pickerel and panfish in between the bass action.  A great fund-raiser it was, and we congratulate Justin for winning this prize and we were glad to host the winner and his friends yet again in 2019!
