Carter's Class is in Session!

The beginning of July seen Craig and Carter who were staying at a nearby lake on a week's vacation with the family come out for a day with Legends Outdoors on scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.  Carter was chomping at the bit to get out fishing as he is a guru of fish study.  He reads many books about fish including fish habitat, spawning season, families of fish, nick names of fish, forage for fish, and so on and so forth.  He reads, reads, and reads some more about it!  The day finally arrived for Carter and he and his father headed out on a bluebird sky, very calm day, that started out with a chilly morning as it was a post frontal condition as the day before had severe winds.  They picked and pecked away at a few fish here and a few fish there with Keitech Baits on this tough day, but managed to compile a solid catch of a couple pickerel, a few small smallmouth bass, several longear sunfish, pumpkinseeds, rockbass, bluegill, and even a small crappie. This father and son duo had a great time out together as they got some fresh air, seen some wildlife, caught many fish, and learned  much more about the fishery of Lake Wallenpaupack as Carter had plenty of questions to further his education on fish.  We hope Craig and his family enjoyed their entire vacation in the Poconos and are hopeful that Carter continues his freshwater fish studies.
