Pickerel Paradise

Legends Outdoors regulars Mark and Marshall were back at it again for another round in early May for some Lake Wallenpaupack fishing.  This time around they brought along friends Matt and Steve for the journey.  With two boats afloat on this Wayne County body of water, they headed out on a blue-skied day with very little wind.  The moderate spring day seen them attack the lake with a variety of Keitech Baits to entice strikes.  They were able to coax some nice crappie, perch and some smallmouth bass on the day, but the main player for the day seemed to be the chain pickerel.  The pickerel were ravenous as the water temperature seemed to have their metabolism at a maximum and keep this quartet busy between the catches of other species.  They all had a great time and we were glad Matt and Steve could join their good friends for a day out with Legends Outdoors and we hope to see them again in the future for another outing.
