Kapsize Crew 2019

Each year the "Kapsize Crew" gets together for an annual fishing trek to catch up on the goings on in their lives as they are scattered out among the USA and look forward to this anticipated reunion.  We have had the pleasure of hosting their annual trek for the last several years and once again in 2019, Legends Outdoors was ready for the adventure.  Dennis once again did an amazing job organizing the group and the itinerary for their four days of fishing and the days in-between that they weren't fishing to enjoy other attractions in the surrounding counties and states.  The group had quite a variety of weather patterns and endured wind, rain, calm, cold, and sun in their four days on the water.  The high water and cold fronts that came through really challenged the anglers, but they persevered each day regardless of the weather.  They used mostly Keitech Baits during the four days, but also tried some live bait for Lake Wallenpaupack giants to no avail, and would have some excellent topwater action late in the trip for a change of pace of tactics.  They experienced two Legends Outdoors shore lunches during the trip of fresh fried panfish and macaroni salad on one of the scenic Lake Wallenpaupack Islands.  This marathon vacation for this group seen the anglers catch smallmouth bass, pickerel, crappie, a myriad of other panfish, and even a hybrid pike/pickerel.  The below photos are just an example of the quantity and quality caught during the 2019 trek.  We at Legends Outdoors missed Ed and Keith and wish they will be able to join the Kapsize Crew for the 2020 gathering and we at Legends Outdoors would once again like to thank the Kapsize Crew for choosing Legends Outdoors for hosting their reunion.
